Vauxhall Sky Gardens
The deliberate assignment of green spaces, inside megastructures, is becoming a major design consideration across many new developments across the world. In the mist of a poor economic climate the substitution of green ‘sky-gardens’ would traditionally be seen as an insane use of premium space. It is fantastic to see green initiatives steadily pushing out the drive for higher returns on a projects investment. Our only question is, where are the plants on all the other floors of the building? The Vauxhall Sky Gardens is due for completion in 2012. Image sourced at www.worldarchitecturenews.com
